The earliest years of a child's life represent a pivotal window for social-emotional development and lifelong well-being. This presentation will highlight infant and early childhood mental health (IECMH) and its importance in supporting healthy development from birth to 5 years old. Core concepts will be explored, including the central role of supportive relationships and environments, and the significance of attachment and caregiver-child bonds. Attendees will gain insights into how healthy relationships foster optional development across domains such as communication, cognitive, motor, and personal-social.
